Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS (Renewal)

This is an American Heart Association course in Advanced Cardiac Life  Support-ACLS (Renewal).  

• credential card is valid for 2 years
• class fee is $225
• Online payment is NOT available. Credit card payment is due at the time of class
  
• Be familar with content of ACLS manual.  (ACLS Manual is optional and costs $60)  
• BLS card must be presented at class
• pre-test* completion (minimum score of 70%) is required of ALL students
• for health care providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of patients in or out of hospital and have CURRENT ACLS provider cards
• goal of ACLS Provider Course is to improve the quality of care provided to the adult victim of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

Please note the following class rules:
1. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will be required to reschedule.

2. Online payment is unavailable. Please bring payment to class.

3. Food is not provided. Please bring your own snacks or plan to get something from the cafeteria or vending machines.

4. You must bring your current BLS card with you to class.

 5. You must complete the pre-test* (regardless of your experience) and bring your BLS card to class. If you fail to do so, you will be rescheduled for a later date.

  • Find the Heart & Flame icon at top left of screen, just below it you will see the 'courses' tab. 
  • Select: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Scroll down until you locate 'Precourse Self-Assessment'
  • Select 'launch course'
  • Sign in or create account
  • Select red 'start' box
  • Select red 'start' box again 
  • Snap a screenshot with your phone or Print off a copy of your score as well as the completed certificate and bring to class or you will be rescheduled for another class.
  • To reiterate...it is our policy that you will not be allowed to take the course unless your pre-test is completed.

LOCATION:

The class is held in the Education Center of OSU Medical Center, 2nd Floor of main hospital, 744 W. 9th St., Tulsa, OK 74127.

DIRECTIONS:

• 11th & Houston, downtown, just off the Broken Arrow Expressway westbound 
• Visitors may park on Level one or Level two of the parking garage.
• Enter MAIN HOSPITAL through East Lobby Doors 
• Turn right and follow the orange signs to the North Elevators
• Use the North Elevators to access the 2nd floor and turn right
• Education Center is located within the "Nursing Logistics" department (near the auditorium).
